HALDI & MEHENDI

In Indian Ayurveda, haldi (turmeric) is cleansing. The Haldi ceremony signifies an auspicious start for the bride and groom, ‘cleansing’ their hearts and souls and marking the beginning of a new life together. Stick around after the ceremony to have mehendi (henna applied), enjoy local artisan booths, and enjoy lunch by the pool
SANGEET

The word "sangeet" means "sung together", the core of this event. The Sangeet is a celebration of life and music where friends and families celebrate this occasion with dances and songs. Expect a fun evening of dancing and singing, ending with dinner and an after party in the Banquet Hall!

Baraat

The Baraat is a celebratory wedding procession where the groom is walked to the wedding by his friends and family while atop a horse. Yuv will make the short walk while his loved ones cheer him on towards the ceremony grounds where Anusha and her loved ones will be waiting to receive him at the wedding mandap (altar).
Wedding Ceremony
Wednesday March 6th, 2024

During the ceremony, guests will be seated while Yuv and Anusha take pheras (circles) around a holy fire while a priest recites Hindu prayers and blessings. This ceremony includes exchanging of garlands, symbolizing that the bride and groom recognize one another as their life partner. The ceremony will be followed by lunch.
